A carefully curated newsletter for contemporary creatives.

New to Pop Rock Disco?

Here's the user manual in four petite(ish) chapters:

Chapter I
What is Pop Rock Disco?

In short, Pop Rock Disco (PRD) - a carefully curated newsletter for contemporary creatives - is a collaborative project designed to explore creativity through the work and experiences of creative people around the world.

New issues are published periodically here at poprockdisco.com. You can learn more in the About page.

Chapter II
How do I use PRD?

Each issue contains a wide mix of multimedia content designed specifically to take you deeper into the subject the more you engage with it (think of it as following a pixel brick road through a cave of digital wonders).

Weekly issues are (currently) organized into three unique sections: Spotlight, Sharing, and Showcase. Creative features in each section focus on:

  • Spotlight: deep dive explorations of a creative individual or group.
  • Sharing: resources, experiences, and/or insights from creatives around the world.
  • Showcase: a digital showcase of creative work from a diverse range of communities and individuals.

Whether you consume an entire issue in a single elliptical session, or you bite off a little bit each day throughout your week, the PRD newsletter is best experienced with an open mind and a side of wonder.

And internet access - that's gonna be needed too since it's a digital newsletter. For now...

Chapter III
Can I submit cool creative things
for a weekly feature too?

Yes. Yes 100%. This project only succeeds when the creative community contributes to it.

So, send over any creative wonders you come across - people, media, experiences, Banksy in the wild - via the Connect page for consideration.

All submissions are considered and replies are within 1-2 business days when possible.

(note: all art and work featured on PRD is shared with permission from the creator(s))

Chapter IV
How can I support PRD?

If Pop Rock Disco is your flavor of life, support is always appreciated in the following ways:

  • weekly engagement: new issues bring new adventures and your continued viewership is like gold (when gold was still cool). You can also sign up to the PRD community mailing list - this will help you stay up to date with the latest issue releases + special magic bonus content.
  • sharing is caring: if it's your jam, it might be somebody else's too. To have you share PRD with your weird friends and family would be an honor not taken lightly.
  • pay for pixels: not really, but if you're feeling like giving away some of your hard earned money, you can make a project donation here to help keep the party going.

Free art and baked goods are also accepted.
    And pizza.

You're all set!
Now, go poke around this week's issue and see what you can discover.
